Thursday, February 4 is our Spring Parents’ Night at the high school. Parents’ Night will begin at 6:45 p.m. in the auditorium. The administrative team at the high school will share our goal of preparing our students for life after high school and how our activities throughout the year will assist students in meeting this goal. Following the introductory session in the auditorium, you will then proceed through your child’s spring semester schedule and have the opportunity to hear from each teacher about his or her expectations for the class in which your child is enrolled.
Throughout the night, information regarding online and print resources will be shared and our technology staff will be available to answer your questions regarding Sapphire parent access – how to view your student’s grade and attendance information in the library.
You are encouraged to attend this program, which will give you an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers. Your son or daughter will be asked to complete and bring home the schedule below to assist you in finding classrooms and teachers. Please bring this with you to Parents’ Night. Students will be dismissed from school at 12:20 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010. If you should have any questions, please contact the high school office at 872-9520, ext. 1809.

Free H1N1 Clinic at Lancaster General Health Suburban Outpatient Pavilion on Saturday, January 30
Lancaster General Health will be offering a free H1N1 vaccine clinic on Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The location of the clinic will be LG Health Suburban Outpatient Pavilion (formerly the Health Campus) at 2100 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, first floor main lobby.
According to the Center for Disease Control, it’s not too late to vaccinate. The peak of influenza doesn’t usually hit until January or later, so the vaccination can still protect you and your loved ones against the H1N1 flu, even this late into the season. Immunizations are for healthy people over 6 months years of age. People with conditions including asthma, diabetes, suppressed immune systems, heart disease, kidney disease, and neurocognitive and neuromuscular disorders should receive the H1N1 vaccination to prevent further complications.
Appointments are preferred. To secure your appointment please call 1-888-LGH– INFO.
