WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2010, DAY 3

• Attention Ag students – the beef jerky sale is in full swing, don’t forget that your orders and money are due on September 8. Come to the September FFA meeting on September 7 in room 342 for food, door prizes and lots of information about September activities!

• Do you have an interest in theatre? On stage? Behind the scenes? Mark your calendar – next week, Thursday, Sept 9th at 6:30 – plan to attend an informational meeting in the auditorium. Bring a parent along. If you plan to be involved in either show – fall or spring – or our theatre club, you really need this information. Please save the date and plan to attend on Sept 9^th.

• Seniors: Please turn in the Scheduling Form for your Graduation Project by next Friday. Drop them off in the office. Make a note of your presentation date, and let us know NOW if you have a conflict. Last names A-G will present on Nov 10th, H-P on Nov 11th, and R-Z on Nov 12th. Contact Mrs. Mintzer with any questions.

• There will be an NHS meeting for all current NHS members this Thursday, September 2nd. One will be held in the morning at 7 am in room 377, one will be held in the afternoon at 2:45 in room 377. All members need to attend only 1 meeting. Our upcoming fall service project will be discussed. If for any reason you can not attend, please contact Mrs. Grenier or Mr. Dutchess as soon as possible to discuss the upcoming service event.

• Any 9th grader interested in coming out for cross country, please see Mr. Myers in room 309 or Ms. Weaner in FCS.

• The Fall Athletic Kick Off Classic will be held on Thursday at Comet Field. A chicken BBQ will start at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased in the Athletic Department or from any fall sports athlete. The band will perform at 6:30 pm with introductions of all fall athletic teams starting at 6:45 pm. Come on out and support your Penn Manor classmates Thursday at Comet Field.

• Any girl in grades 9 – 12 interested in trying out for the girls basketball team should meet in room 376 right after school on Wednesday for a short meeting with Coach Long.

• Attention students, if you are interested in having a locker this year, please write down the number of the locker you wish to have and bring it to your lunch. You will be able to sign up for lockers during lunches on today.
