Health Care Expo

Be a part of this year’s Health Careers Expo! Attend demonstrations and speak with professionals within the health care industry on Friday, November 4th. The expo is being held at McCaskey East High School and transportation will be provided, but seats are very limited!! Stop by the counseling office today to pick up a permission slip! Permission slips are due Thursday, October 20th.

College Fair

Want to meet over 170 colleges and universities all in one place? Attend the Lancaster County College Night on Monday, November 7th from 6:30-8:30. It will be held at Conestoga Valley High School. There will also be financial aid workshops, ‘how to choose a college’ seminars, and much more! Stop by the counseling office for more information.

New Volunteering Information

Girls– Looking for a way to complete your community service? The YWCA Sisters Program needs 10-12 Big Sisters to meet Thursday’s after school at Central Manor Elementary School until 5pm! All but one of our Big Sisters graduated last year so we are in great need of some new girls to help out for this school year.  If you are interested please stop in the counseling office and pick up a flyer from the Volunteer File.

Nurse 2 Nurse and Doctor 2 Doctor Health Career Opportunities:  Stop in the counseling office and pick up information about shadowing and /or volunteering at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.  If you are interested in a career in medicine you should check out this chance to gain valuable experience into the medical field.
