While surfing the Internet you can protect your computer from malware, unsolicited web trackers, and annoying ads by installing an ad-blocker as an extension for your browser. In this article I will show you how to install uBlock Origin in Firefox. This extension is an open source ad blocker that will make your browsing experience distraction free and more secure.
To install uBlock Origin into Firefox first:
Open Firefox
Click on Firefox’s hamburger menu icon, then select {Add-ons}
In the {Search box} type ublock and press Enter.
Click on the top result as shown and click on the {Install} button.
That’s it. Now I will show you the difference between navigating sites without uBlock and with uBlock installed:
