Wear Pink TODAY!

We apologize for the late notice, and we know that today is already our “Relax, we can do this” day of pajamas and sweats…..

BUT, the entire Marticville staff and student body are celebrating that today is Mrs. Smith’s (the Marticville principal) last day of radiation!!!  Woohoo!!!  We are so excited for her!

If you can, try to incorporate some PINK into your outfit today to show her your support!  And, don’t forget…today is a 1:30 early dismissal.

Celebrating how hard we have worked!

Fifth grade wants to celebrate how hard we have worked so far this year with two fun days before the PSSAs begin next week.

On Friday, we are having a “Relax, we can do this” day.  The fifth graders are invited to wear school appropriate pajamas or sweats.

On Monday, we are having a “Put your thinking cap on” day.  The students are invited to wear their favorite hat to school.

As always, with both of these days, we ask that the students choose their outfits and hats appropriately. If something isn’t school appropriate or distracting to their fellow classmates or the flow of the class, they will be asked to change.

Our fifth grade has worked so hard to grow as thinkers this year, and they will continue to work hard until the end of the year.  Let’s celebrate this and have some fun!

Conestoga Fifth Graders Participate in STEM Bowl

Vita Failla, Sophia Schoonover, Mikey Hollister, and Caelan Spitko-Lind represented Conestoga at the Lancaster-Lebanon Elementary STEM Bowl today.  Carter Rachor was the alternate and was a huge help in the team’s preparation for today’s event!

Mrs. Spitko, who was a judge at today’s STEM bowl and helped the team prepare, said that she was “very proud of their focus, knowledge, and risk-taking in answering tough questions!
They had a lot of fun with the stem activities through the science factory as well!”

Way to go, Conestoga fifth graders!  We are all very proud of you!
