Scarecrow Supplies

We are reading a story titled “The Scarebird” next week during E/I and will then be making our own scarecrows. Mrs. Eckroat talked to the students today during reading about what supplies they can bring in. Old flannel shirts, t-shirts, pants, jeans, etc. that you are okay having them cut apart will be perfect. They were shown examples of scarecrows that students have created in the past to spark their imagination. Feel free to look back in the archives of our blog at past scarecrow projects.

All students were told to ask parent/guardian permission first before bringing a piece of clothing into school to cut up! All supplies can be brought into school by Thursday, October 31. The scarecrows will be in the hallway waiting for you to see them at parent conferences!

Let Mrs. Eckroat or Mrs. Falk know if you have any questions about this special project.
