Good Evening Chorus Parents, Family and Friends!

I hope you are all having a wonderful evening! I just wanted to make you aware of some different opportunities for you and your chorus student.

At Home Practice Resources:
As you are probably well aware, the Hambright Chorus has already begun rehearsing for the Holiday Concert. The concert will be Wednesday December 13^th at 5:30 here at Hambright. As with any musical instrument, at home practice is key to success. Please help to encourage your student to practice their chorus music at home. Students will be receiving practice copies of their music tomorrow at rehearsal and practice recordings will be available on my blog tomorrow afternoon.

 

Carpool Information:
I have had several families contact me in regards to helping to organize a chorus rehearsal carpool as to better aid parents who work in the morning get their child to rehearsal. To better help families who would be willing to participate in a carpool with families who are looking for transportation for their child, I have created this form: Hambright Chorus Carpool Survey  If you would be willing to carpool or are looking for transportation for your student, please complete the Hambright Chorus Carpool Survey. Just as a friendly reminder, chorus rehearsal begins at 8 am and I am not able to accommodate students arriving before 8 am. If transportation is an issue for your student, please be sure to complete the Hambright Chorus Carpool Survey above and I will help to connect you with other families who would be willing to carpool.

It is a pleasure to work with your students as their chorus director. I have been quite impressed with all of the talent that we have here in the Hambright Elementary 5^th and 6^th Grade Chorus and I am excited for all your students will accomplish this year!
