Week of May 29…We’re almost there!!

*** Wednesday Morning will be First Grade Olympic Day! I would like to surprise the kiddos by making tie dye tee shirts in the afternoon. If you have an old light colored tee shirt please send it in with your kiddo tomorrow or Wednesday. **** I will bring the tee shirts home and put them through the laundry, and then plan on wearing them the last day of school. If you will not be able to send in a tee shirt, please let me know and we can take care of it. ***

Animal Reports! I am excited to begin animal reports with students this week. We have five groups that will be working together on an animal. We will study their habitat, appearance, diet, and even interesting facts about each animal. The groups will create a tri-fold for each animal and a special at-home part of the project will be send home later in the week. We look forward to using many reading and writing skills we learned this year to make our first project!
