*Thank you, thank you, thank you to our PTO for providing pizza to our class this past Friday. It was a great way to end our week, and we really appreciated it!

*Please note, April 24th is an early dismissal day with NO-PM Kindergarten. Students will be dismissed at 12:10 PM for this early dismissal. ** The Early Dismissal for elementary is now 12:10 PM, NOT the standard 1:30 PM.**

Looking Ahead…

*Wednesday, March 25 – School Wide Art Show from 6-8 PM at CM! Your child’s artwork will be on display! This will also be Gertrude Hawk Candy order pick up night.

*Friday, March 27 – Weather make-up day if needed

*Sunday, March 29 – Grandparent Bingo! Doors open at 3:30, Bingo begins at 4:00. Admission is free, however extra cards, concession items, and raffle tickets are available for purchase.

What are we learning this week?

Math with Mrs. Graver: Please look over, sign, and return the Chapter 11 math tests for Monday. Chapter 12 is a short unit on metric measurement, so please stay tuned to your child’s planner for an upcoming test date.

ELA: We officially wrapped up our figurative language unit last week, but we will continue to look for, apply, and use figurative language in our day to day learning. This week we will begin Unit 5 which is Author’s Claim and Evidence. In grammar we will be introducing and working with Prepositions.

Word Study with Mrs. Graver: Menu Items are due this Monday and Friday. With the early dismissal on Friday, 4W will have their word study test on Monday, March 16th.

Science: We will be digging deeper into current electriciy this week and building circuits.
