Week of March 5, 2018

Our Week

Math – We finished Chapter 12 on Friday. We will review tomorrow and take our test on Tuesday. Last week we spent a lot of time practicing how to measure to the nearest half inch and quarter of an inch. This can be tricky, but they did a great job! We will begin Chapter 13: Perimeter and Area on Wednesday.

ELA – In guided reading, we started new chapter books. In whole group reading, we continued to work on point of view. The students did a great job rewriting a passage using a different point of view.

Content – The students all had a chance to share their “Who am I?” posters. Wow!! The posters were awesome! Thank you so much for all of the support that you provided with that project. The posters will hang in the hallway for a couple of weeks and then will be sent back home.
