Classroom Updates for Next Week:

Reading and Spelling Lesson: 26

Reading Skill: Inferencing

Reading Vocabulary Words: Bristly, dreadful, adamant, inevitable, summoning, nuisance, sedentary, oblige, boasting, sway

Math: We are just continuing spiral review from all year long. We will start chapter 1 of the fourth grade curriculum next week.

Science: Finishing up learning about Plants

Social Studies: Finishing up learning about the economy and earning money

Writing: We have started constructing our ABC Third Grade Memories Scrapbook. They are constructing paragraphs about memories they had in third grade.

FUN EXTRAS:

Today we will be sending home a flyer for a program that Penn Manor is partnering with local libraries. If your child doesn’t already have a library card, please fill out the paper to get them one and help our district become a part of the fun summer program!

Mr. Dutton has decided it is time to cut is hair! We will watch him cut it during an assembly at the end of the year. If your child is interested in being one of the students that gets to have a hand in cutting it, raffle tickets will be on sale to be placed into the drawing. Tickets will cost $1 a ticket and all proceeds will go to local PM Families in need.
