FIELD TRIP TOMORROW!!!!

Tomorrow is our field trip to Muddy Run.  We plan on leaving school first thing in the morning.  Please make sure your child is on time for school tomorrow.

In order for this day to be a huge success we need your help.

  • If your son or daughter is packing their own lunch, please have them put it in a plastic bag and write their name in large print on the outside of the bag.  Everything must be disposable (we will not bring anything home).
  • Please send a water bottle along with your son or daughter.   It does not appear that we will experience high temperatures tomorrow, but we will have water stations throughout for the children to stay hydrated.  They can take a disposable water bottle or a plastic one.  Each child will be responsible for their own water bottle ALL day.
  • Please send your child to school with a backpack they can carry with a towel, and shoes they can wear in the water. They will be getting in a stream tomorrow, wearing shoes all day that are wet will be no fun!

Thank you so much for your help!

Just a reminder!!!!

Back to school night is tonight from 4-6pm!

The book fair is also open in the gym hallway, so please check it out after your classroom visit!

Here we go………

Well, we are off and running!  Officially on DAY 3 of our second cycle! Today students will take their first math test. Monday of next week will be our first vocabulary and spelling quiz. Please make sure your child is studying those words at home. We have also had our first opportunity to switch for science and social studies. My students got to meet Mrs. Frese yesterday.

Some REMINDERS…

*Spelling words can be found stapled into their planners. There are regular and super spellers this cycle. The word list on top indicates the list they will be tested on.

*Vocabulary words should be located in their return to school folder and kept there to study every night.
