What a wonderful week with your kiddos! We took a Math test yesterday on ‘Money’ and the kids did AMAZING! So proud of them!

We had a WONDERFUL time celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday. The students had a blast! Thank you for all of the donations to help decorate the Valentine’s boxes -I really appreciate it! 🙂

100 DAYS SMARTER ;)

Yesterday we celebrated our 100th day of school and had a BLAST! These are some of the different activities we did:

  1. The Silencer- We sat in complete and utter silence for 100 whole seconds!
  2. The Jokester- The students had 100 seconds to come up with their best joke… but they had to think in complete silence.
  3. Put your Hand Up- The students put their hand up in the air and had 100 seconds to give a high-five to everyone in the room!
  4. I have my Eye On You- The kiddos got with a partner and each gave each other a stare down for 100 seconds.. trying not to be the first one to blink! 😉
  5. Let it Pour- We made a 100 second Rain Storm! 🙂 Everyone started by tapping on finger, then two fingers, then one hand, then two hands, then two hands and two stomping feet! This was their favorite! 🙂

We also completed two worksheets which were SO funny to read. The two writing prompts were…

  1. “When I am 100…”
    1. The students got to write about what they will be doing when they are 100 years old AND draw a picture of what they will look like. This class is extremely creative! 😉
  2. “If I had $100 dollars I would buy…”
    1. Some of the kiddos wrote about how they would buy a horse, house, aquarium, etc. They crack me up! 🙂

Thanks again for the 100 Day snacks! I saw 100 pieces of popcorn, 100 starbursts, cheezits, marshmallows, and gold fish. You guys are the best! 🙂 Thanks for making our 100th day of school so special!

REMINDER- Try to have the Valentine’s shoe box/tissue box and decorations at school by tomorrow. We will be planning on decorating them tomorrow or Thursday! 🙂 Our Valentine’s Mail Delivery will be on Friday the 12th!

February 8th- 100th Day of School!! We will be celebrating by bringing in a 100 day snack! 🙂

For the Valentine Mail Delivery on February 12th, make sure ALL friends in the classroom are included. 🙂 Please send in a shoe box or tissue box with your child before Friday, February 12th…. hoping to decorate them on the 10th or 11th. You can send extras if you have some lying around. :)We are also in need of a few donations, which can come in at any time!

  • Paper Doilies: White, Pink and Red
  • Valentine’s Day Stickers
  • Red, Pink, White Ribbon
  • Any type of Valentine craft items that will help us to decorate our boxes
