This week is Red Ribbon Week. It is an ideal way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. This is a nationally celebrated event, sponsored by the Lancaster County Drug and Alcohol Commission.
Show your personal commitment to a drug-free lifestyle through participating in the special week we have planned. We will wear things this week that promote being drug-free.
Monday: Team Up Against Drugs! (wear sport jerseys and team gear)
Tuesday: Orange You Glad You Don’t Do Drugs? (wear orange)
Wednesday: I’m Proud to be Drug Free! (wear red)
Thursday: Sock It To Drugs! (show off your crazy socks)
Friday: Be A Jean-ious! (wear jeans and Leader T-shirts)

YES- Your kiddos are AMAZING and earned their first class reward for TOMORROW- October 19 :). It was the first time all year that EVERYONE handed in their reading homework. YAY! For their reward, the students can wear their pajamas and bring in a stuffed animal to keep them company throughout the day ;). If your kiddo wears slippers, please make sure he/she also has sneakers to wear for recess. Looking forward to a fun, comfy Friday!

*Today, the students received their FREE book from a family member/friend who wanted to sponsor your child. Each child was sponsored (YES- ALL 26 :)) and will receive one free book each month (September -May). YAY!
