Please check the weather Thursday evening. We will be spending the day outside doing environmental and team building activities. Bring a bag lunch. The school will make a lunch for students, but we need a final count on Thursday. We will be home in time for students to go home on the bus. It’s going to be a great day.
Have you been seeing your child reading for 20 minutes a day? If not, ask for the September reading challenge paper. If your child, reads for 20 minutes, five days out of the week, and brings the calendar back signed, an ice cream party is their reward during lunch recess. Reading is a great way to improve comprehension, fluency, and spelling skills. So let’s read, read, and read.
A reminder that spelling packets are due on Thursday, and the test is on Friday.
