Weekly News: October 28 -31

There is so much happening over the next two weeks, so grab your calendar and hang on for the whirlwind of events!

Monday, October 28. Normal day.

Tuesday, October 29. I will be off this day for carpal tunnel surgery. Apparently this surgery is no big problem anymore, so I will be back on Wednesday. I will tell my classes about my surgery on Monday, and hopefully they will remember that I have a sore incision on Wednesday. I will need to get the other wrist done before the end of the year.

Wednesday, October 30. Normal day.

Thursday, October 31. Pumpkin Exploration Day. Just like apple day we will have activities that involved learning about the life cycle of pumpkins. This is also the kick off day for the Book Fair, and students may wear pajamas to school.

Friday, November 1. No school, teacher inservice day.

Looking ahead:

Wednesday, Nov. 6: NO SCHOOL FOR KINDERGARTEN, all other grades will have an early dismissal 9- 1:30.

Thursday, Nov. 7: PM KINDERGARTEN ATTENDS 9:00 – 1:30. No AM Kindergarten. Book Fair shopping time is 11:30 -12:00.

Friday, Nov. 8: AM KINDERGARTEN ATTENDS 9:00 – 1:30. No PM Kindergarten. Book Fair shopping time is 9:05 – 9:35.

If you child is purchasing books, please email me if your child has the ewallet or is bringing money to school. You are welcome to shop with your child on your conference day before or after your conference.
