Weekly News: January 2-3

I hope this update finds your family well and rested from the holidays! Just a few items for the first two days back in the new year and then some future dates to put on the calendar.

New Year, New Supplies. If you would like to send in a few glue sticks and a new box of Crayola 16 count crayons for your child, that would be great. By this time lots of crayons are small in pieces or missing. Glue sticks are empty and there are over 100 days left of school. I will be making an Amazon order for supplies in the next few weeks to get a few more glue sticks and crayons. Thank you!

On Monday, December 30, I will have carpal tunnel release surgery on my left (and dominant) hand. Although this is a simpl-ish procedure, I will need the classes to help me for the next several weeks. I have a feeling they are going to love being the teacher when I need their help! (They were awesome with the last surgery!)

Looking ahead:

Monday, January 13th: NO SCHOOL — teacher inservice day

Monday, January 20th: NO SCHOOL — Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Friday, January 24th: Early Dismissal — PM Kindergarten attends 9:00a.m. – 1:30 p.m. NO AM KINDERGARTEN.
