An error was made (by me) regarding the location of the T&F meeting. That meeting is in Coach Myer’s classroom. Therefore, it would be best if I distribute the jackets outside the West gym on Thursday from 2:45 to 3:15.
Team members who ordered a jacket can pick up their jacket after school.
Alternate delivery opportunities will be determined for those unable to pick up their jacket on Thursday.
There will be a Winter Track Meeting on Thursday, November 16th at 3:00pm with
Coach Myers in Room 309.
If you have any questions, please contact Coach Myers at firstname.lastname@example.org
All team members are asked to return their uniform and warm-up at the Year-end Celebration on Sunday. Individuals not attending the year-end celebration should return their equipment to the Athletic Director’s office no later than Monday.
Obviously, runners qualifying for the State Championship will return their equipment a week later.
Equipment should be returned in a bag with the student’s name on the bag.
Roll-sticks and foam rollers should also be returned with equipment.
Equipment with be inspected, repaired, washed and stored for next season immediately after the season. Delays in returning equipment creates unnecessary work that we wish to avoid.
Your cooperation with this is appreciated.
We have a few Timex Ironman watches remaining from our order in August.
Any team member interested in buying a watch from our current inventory may do so for $20.
Both men’s and women’s watches are available
If you are having trouble keeping your shoes dry with the rain, here are some suggestions:
Place newspaper in the shoes. Replace it after an hour or so with dry newspaper. It absorbs most of the water quickly and adding dry newspaper after a while enhances the drying effect.
Do not place running shoes in the dryer. It damages the glue holding the shoes together and also has a negative effect on the shock absorption ability of the shoes.
This is a follow-up to some points that were brought up at tonight’s parent meeting.
Heather Lindsley has very kindly offered to put together individual pictures of the team so that it’s easier for parents to know who they are cheering for. In order for her to finish this in time before our first meet, please kindly send a headshot of your child and their grade level to her by Sunday, September 3rd. Her contact information is: email@example.com or 717-330-8310.

Several parents have asked and I did want to inform you that if you who filled out the Volunteer Clearance Packet last year, there is no need to update any of your information. Your clearances are valid for five years.
Thank you for all of your support!
Anyone interested in volunteering for events hosted by the Cross Country team is required by Penn Manor School District to complete a packet of volunteer clearances. Please contact Coach Kramer at email@example.com if you would like to do this.
A special thank you to Dawn and Brian Deets for supplying a hearty and nutritious breakfast to our athletes this morning! The boys and girls were most appreciative after completing an 8am track workout!
