Penn Manor Varsity Cross Country

Dear Cross Country Family, 

Jamie and I have loved being your booster club reps for the last few years.  Neither of us will able to continue in this capacity moving forward. 

The immediate need is for a PMC3 rep. I have also served in this role but will not have a runner next year. If this is of interest to you please let me know asap as the new grant money comes out very soon. I will not be continuing as the rep. So we must find a replacement or forfeit the opportunity to receive any grant money.  I am happy to walk you through the process. 

Anyone who would like to step into this role or a booster club role please let me know soon. Once a new coach is hired the remaining funds will be turned over to him/her. 

It was a pleasure working with you and this group will always hold a special place in my heart.

To all of our Cross Country families,

For the last twelve years, Doug and I have been involved in one capacity or another with the cross country programs, however, sometimes life leads you in new directions.

Although this was a very difficult decision, we have put in our resignation as the Cross Country coaches.  

We have full confidence that the Athletic Department will find coaches to uphold the same integrity and commitment to the athletes and families that we worked so hard to instill in the program.

Thank you for the privilege of coaching many of your children through the years and best wishes in the seasons ahead…GO COMETS!!!

Toys for Tots is in need of volunteers to help today from now until 8 pm. If you and any friends would like to join in, it would be very much appreciated! You will be helping to prepare for the holiday toy distribution next week. Mara Braegelmann is the coordinator so she will gladly sign any papers for those needing service hours.

Toys for Tots is located in the the Old Sears Auto Center across from Park City Center.

Hello Penn Manor VARSITY Cross Country families,

It was nice to have so many families come together on Sunday to celebrate the season (even if it was a little dark!). Doug and I were extremely touched by your generous gift and we will get plenty of use out the table next year. Many, many thanks!

We are looking for volunteers (athletes and parents) to help at the annual Millersville Turkey Trot, held on Thanksgiving morning, November 24th from 7:15-10:30 (at the latest). This is a fundraiser for our Booster Club and one of the ways we are able to give back to the community. Students can also earn service hours. Kaleb ran in his first State meet today at Hershey. He finished in 34th place with a time of 17:08 against a very talented field of runners throughout the state. What a way to end an already successful season!

Hello Penn Manor VARSITY Cross Country families,

This is just a quick reminder and a few other details for our celebration/banquet on Sunday (11/6). This is a casual event and judging from the signup, we will have plenty to eat!

We will meet in the High School Cafeteria from 2-4. Please use the same entrance to the cafeteria as where the bus picked us up for meets. This is the side that faces Cottage Ave.

We also have a slideshow for you to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
