Hello PM Cross Country athletes and families,
I hope everyone is enjoying the start of their summer vacation. I wanted to take some time to pass along some information for the upcoming cross country season.
For those that do not know me, my name is Nick Loreto and I will be the head varsity cross country coach this season. This past spring was my first season at Penn Manor as head track and field coach. Also coaching on the varsity this year will be Kevin Kabakjian. Coach Kabakajian will be the brains behind the training for this year’s team. We hope that having both of us coach this fall will bring a level of continuity that hasn’t been at Penn Manor for quite some time. We will have a new junior high head coach as well. This role will be filled by Dawn Deets. Coach Deets is an avid runner that competes in road races all around the tri-state area. She will be a welcome addition to the coaching staff.
We will be starting our voluntary workouts on July 10th. I ask that if you haven’t been receiving my emails please email me at nicholas.loreto@pennmanor.net. I will add to the mailing list as we will be going away from using this blog and moving towards a google website (the school district is phasing out the blogs).
