Another Message from Our Superintendent

One of my duties as Superintendent is to propose a school calendar to the Board of School Directors. Earlier in the year the Lancaster County Commissioners approached Penn Manor and asked to use our schools as polling places for next year. In order to use our schools as polling places it would be necessary for students to be off on election day.

My attached draft would make it possible for Lancaster County to use our elementary schools as polling places. This draft gives students long weekends leading up to the general election on November 8, 2011 and the primary election on April 24, 2012. The two actual election dates would be an inservice for elementary on 11/8 and a K-12 inservice on 4/24.

I am interested in any feedback from faculty, staff, parents, students, and community members so that I can refine this draft and make a formal proposal to the School Board in March.

A Message from Our Superintendent

Dear Member of the Penn Manor Community,

The Penn Manor School Board is once again asking each and every member of the Penn Manor community to participate in an online evaluation of the superintendent. The Survey Monkey tool is easy to use and an open response area gives you the opportunity to communicate directly with all 9 School Board members. They review all scores and comments. Please take the time to respond at the sites listed below.

I value the feedback that you can provide. Please take a few minutes to complete the following survey. All responses are anonymous.

Even if you do not feel you have enough interaction with me to fully evaluate my strengths/weaknesses, I would encourage you to take this opportunity to share any comment you may have about the overall impression you have of the Penn Manor School District.

The survey will close on Friday, February 18. Thank you for your time.

Community and Parents:
