Take the Time to Breathe

I hope you take the time to get away every once in awhile

Because happiness can come from the slightest smile

I hope you take the time to lose yourself in a book

Or in the woods behind your home even just to look

I hope you take the time to ride your bike in the sunset

Looking at the beauty of nature and that is it

I hope you take the time to sit on your front steps and count cars passing by

Or lay on your roof and gaze up at the twinkling night sky

I hope you take the time to cruise along backroads with the windows down

Listening to nothing but the rushing wind sounds

I hope you take the time to be alone

Enjoy the time with yourself and turn off your phone

Life

Sometimes life can flip around.

Be proud don’t look back.

Learn something to achieve something.

Money doesn’t always buy happiness.

Be thankful for all people.

There is always another side.

Stereotypes are more than overrated.

Sunny eyes have grey sky’s.

Rules of life aren’t real.

Biggest hills create bigger journeys.

Sophistication

Sophistication is the wealthy’s defense

The proper way of the world

A dignified young lady

Standing straight up without a slouch

A polite way of talking

Saying please and thank you

A pressed suit with a perfectly straight tie

And a flowy dress bowing before a dance

Being knowledgeable about the world

And kind to the people that pass you on the street

Our Time is at a Stand Still

Please, tell me, what meaning do I hold,

having abandoned the purpose I once served?

I’m broken, neglected by the world you oh, so adore,

Yet you laugh, blind to my obvious terror.

Being as twisted as I am, I hold my breath,

Now I’m hidden, and nothing can reveal me. Not even the truth.

I’m fragile, but indestructible,

and psychotic, yet unable to loose my sanity.

In this dull, stubborn world, I gradually become transparent, unable to be seen.

So, don’t waste your time looking for me, advert your eyes.

I just don’t want to hurt you, in a world out of someone’s imagination.

Be content with just my memory; as vivid as I was.

Forever spreading, solitude warps my image.

Memories of times we laughed together come to mind,

And I can’t move, I cannot move!

Protect your innocence!

This Generation

You can’t be yourself because of what this generation has people thinking.

People don’t understand that it’s okay to be different.

It is never a bad thing to do what you feel is right .

If you feel the need to not fight, then don’t fight.

If you don’t wanna spend all your money on a new pair of jordans, then don’t .

But sadly, some people won’t give you credit for that, they just won’t.

People are gonna be jealous of you because you ain’t letting this generation make you into what this generation is trying to enforce.

So in reality, will people talk about you to your face? No

Will they talk about you behind your back? Of course

It’s like if you don’t do what they like, then they call you rude names.

Sometimes you have to be coach and learn to control this generation’s games.

You Want To Be Like Me?

Although I’m not sure who would want to be,

Such a reserved and masked actress like me,

I’ll list some tips to help you change,

If that is what you wish.

Use smiles and laughs to hide your ways,

Watch an anime marathon that lasts for days.

Just don’t forget the juice and snacks,

The decision will haunt you endlessly.

Press some keys, pull some strings,

Tune your voice, sing some things,

Write a song for a sister’s birthday,

And don’t present it early.

Observe all, find a purpose,

Prove, to yourself, that you’re not worthless.

Just for the words, read a poem,

And keep its meaning in mind.

Find a girl, tell her you love her,

Keep, in your wallet, her school picture.

Treat her like she is the only one,

Because, after all, she is.

Make a promise and don’t break it,

Build up your story bit by bit.

If you really want to be like me,

Do yourself a favor…

And Be You.
