We had a very exciting week in 6th grade. The first week of the Carnival for a Cause was very successful. Each class ran their carnival games during the lunch recess periods. It was fun to see the entrepreneurial spirit in the students. They did a great job running their games, handling money, managing crowd control, marketing and advertising. They were excitedly trying to drum up business! Their efforts paid off and so far they have raised over $250. Wow! It is amazing to see students having fun while making a difference to people around the world. We are looking forward to each class running the carnival again this week. Thank you for your support with candy donations and encouraging your child in this effort!
We also had a great time hearing the students wonderful poems during our poetry cafe. Students did a fabulous job presenting their poetry and were great audience members for each other. See the video below for some highlights from this week’s events. More pictures will follow this week.
