The sixth grade math bowl team needs your help! In the past, the high school has provided students who act as coaches for our team of 6th graders to prepare them for the Math Bowl. This year, however, this isn’t possible, so we will need to provide our own coach. It would involve meeting with the four team members one afternoon a week from 2:45 until the end of the day, approximately 3:30. Mrs. Steiner would provide all materials needed; you would help the students work through the problems, time them on others and offer hints & tips to help them work together as a team. The sixth grade Math Bowl is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, so we’d like to get a coach very soon. If you are interested, please e-mail Mrs. Steiner as soon as possible. If you know someone who might be interested, let her know and she’ll contact them. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer.
