After taking part of our math test, we took a little break and played a strategy game. Students were able to pick partners. They got a skeleton paper and a “bucket” of 10 bones. The 10 bones were place on top of the skeleton paper. The idea of the game was to be the last player to pick up a bone. Players went back and forth picking up either 1 or 2 bones. The player to pick up the last bone was the winner. The students quickly figured out that they needed to do some planning to win.
