This week the students have been very busy learning about pumpkins, landforms , endings on words, the short o sound, subtracting, and retelling. The class had fun today learning landforms by playing headbanz.
The students also listened to many fiction and non fiction stories on pumpkins. Some favorites were Too Many Pumpkins and Spookley!
The students also learned about the endings -ing and -ed. We talked about how -ing added to a verb means it is happening now. Then we discussed how adding -ed to a word means it already happened. Then we moved around to Jack Hartman’s CVC song to practice the short o sound.
Have a great weekend and thank you again for your continued support!
