The -ng sound, adding 3 addends and dialog

Today the class sorted our new spelling words: words with the -NG sound and words that do not have the -NG sound. We listened to this UTUBE to help us with this tricky sound. Then we highlighted -ng words in our story about KING JON.

In math the class used two strategies to help them add 3 addends today. We either looked for a double or a way to make ten. Tomorrow we will be making rainbows to help us with this strategy!

The class finished up by talking about dialog. We listened to 2 stories. One that used quotation marks for dialog and one that used speech bubbles. Then we wrote our own dialog with speech bubbles and quotation marks.
