Today the students were geologists with their rock collections they brought in. After watching a brainpop video and rock detective video about ROCKS, the students learned about properties. Properties of a rock are : color, texture, luster, and hardness. The students used their magnifying glasses to look at other’s rocks and tried to identify the different properties in the rocks!
