Today the class talked about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We read our Scholastic News and learned about the words: segregation, equality , and justice. We then looked at 2 eggs after they were cracked open. We decided that the eggs looked the same. When I showed them that one egg had a brown shell and one egg had a white shell, we compared this to people! We all look different on the outside, but the inside we are all the same!
Next we unscrambled a sentence about Dr. Martin Luther King and did a craft to go with it.
