Today in FUNDATIONS the students learned the trick words one and was. We wrote these words in the air with our eyes open and closed. Then we used our special RED pencils to put these words in our trick word book. The class also learned more about the pirate -ar sound, or controlled r sound. After reading the story, Mark’s Big Day in our STORYTOWN, we listed all the -ar words in our story. The we recorded all the words on our pirate hats! Enjoy the pictures!
