Multiple meanings and 3D shapes

Today in class the students learned what a multiple meaning word is. Multiple meaning words are words that have multiple meanings but are spelled the same. We watched this video to help understand this concept . Then we drew pictures and wrote sentences for different multiple meaning words.

In math today the students learned about 3D shapes. We learned the words: dimensional, faces and vertices. We learned the different attributes for spheres, rectangular prisms, cones, and cubes.

REMINDER: Wear red tomorrow to get “ready” for pssa testing. Though first grade does not test, let’s cheer on the others!
