Our lunchtime is 11:40–12:20 daily. If you would like to join your child for lunch, please let me know and the office so that the cafeteria is prepared. If you are buying the school lunch you must buy lunch A. If you are bringing your own lunch, we ask that you do not bring in any fast food for your lunch like McDonalds, Subway etc. Please discuss the choices with your child so they are prepared to order when they arrive at school each morning. Student lunch prices this year are $2.35 and milk prices are $.60. Breakfast prices will be $1.25 this year.
Meal tickets (Pre-paid breakfasts/lunches): As a service to parents and to help students avoid lost or forgotten lunch money, lunches can be purchased in advance by either check or cash. Checks should be made payable to: “Penn Manor Food Service.” The cafeteria will remind your child when his/her lunch ticket is getting low. Please indicate on the check your child’s name and grade. The cost for a full price meal ticket is $50.00 for elementary and secondary. The reduced price meal ticket is $10.00. In addition, pre-paid monies can also be used to purchase ala carte food items. If you choose to do this, you may pay this by check made out to Penn Manor School District. The money is put into your child’s account, and you do not have to worry about forgetting to give them lunch money daily, or lost money. When your account is running low, a notice will be sent home to remind you. We encourage the parents of first graders to take advantage of purchasing the lunch ticket. It makes the lunch line move faster, and your child does not need to be responsible for carrying money to and from school.
