The students had a great field trip last Wednesday! It was a busy day filled with a lot of learning and fun. We began the day at Ressler’s Mill where the students learned about the Ressler family and how they once operated the mill.
Then, we made our way to Cherry Crest Farm. While there, students were able to pick their own pumpkins, meet barnyard animals up close and personal and make their way through a small corn maze. A lot of students also enjoyed the bouncy pillow and burlap sack slides!
Finally, we ended our day with a tour of downtown Lancaster. This began with a treat from Auntie Anne’s…YUM! The students were able to see places that we have been learning about in the classroom.
