*I hope that you all had a restful and relaxing holiday break! I’m excited to see everyone tomorrow!

*Just a reminder that we are asking your child to bring in 2-3 photographs from winter and/or holidays from the past to be included in our winter writing project. We are also asking that your child bring in 2 family recipes (these can be printed from a computer and/or written down) to be included in this project. Photographs and recipes are due FRIDAY.

*Save the date for our Winter Coffee House Presentations on December 19th from 9:30-10:30! You are invited!

*A new spelling list was handed out last Wednesday. Our test is Friday.

*Don’t forget, you can participate in the Scrips fundraiser where every gift card purchased earns money for our school. You can either fill out the green paper that was sent home last week OR submit your order online at www.shopwithscrip.com. Click “Join a program” and enter school code 4367C39F3L821. Create an account to shop. Every gift card purchased earns a rebate percentage that goes to PTO. Thank you!

*Central Manor is participating in a coat drive to help replenish supplies at The Loft at Milllersville Church. We are asking for NEW or GENTLY USED winter coats, gloves, mittens and scarves (children to adult sizes). Your donation will help Penn Manor families. If you choose to donate some items, please send them in a labeled bag with your child. The coat drive will run until mid-December. Thank you!

*The Penn Manor Schools are collecting items to support Penn Manor families. 4th grade has been asked to collect shampoo.

What are we learning this week?

English Language Arts (ELA): We will continue to work on our Winter Writing Project by researching a winter holiday from another country. We will also work on drafting two column notes to answer a TDA prompt.

Math: We will continue our unit on patterns and sequences.

Science: We will continue with our Chemistry unit.
