PRACTICE, please!

Now is a great time to spend some hours with your instrument and making music.

Here are my best ideas for helping you move forward:
Play the old, easy, familiar pieces.
Tackle a new piece when you feel “brushed up” on technique.
Share your products with family members.
Play along with recordings of every type:
Our text books have recordings/videos/online versions
String Basics Books 1, 2, 3
Some digital versions are available for $1.99 – on screen music/attached audio. Maybe buy book 2 or 3?
String students can find some Vamoosh information in Google Classroom: String Info 2019-2020. Class code: vhxsrw2
Band students may find some links or other information in Google Classroom: Band Info 2019-2020. Class code: ulabh57
Vamoosh for Clarinet, Saxophone, and Trumpet has backing tracks on YouTube.
There are additional items on my Moodle page. You need to login with your PM google account in order to see many of the items. There are also some guitar, recorder, theory excercises on the Moodle page. Please feel free to explore!
If you have the freedom to try SmartMusic, it is free until June 30, 2020. Normally there is an annual subscription fee.
Making music is a great, safe, free way to express your feelings…DO IT!
MP3s are always welcome in my email or google classroom.
