Miss Ansel and Mrs. Drexel miss you so much. Now it is time for you to enjoy summer and come back to school as first graders!!!
Have an amazing summer Kindergarten!!! Here are the last few pictures….. PM class, do you see our friend Blake?! It was so nice of him to join us at our final google meet all the way from Georgia!
Report cards are being sent by mail starting today. You should receive your child’s report card next week. Every skill area for Kindergarten will be marked N/A since we could not evaluate each child during this time. Parents, do not worry……your child is ready for first grade. Continue to practice sight words, sounding out words, writing stories, math concepts (listed on the report card) and READ!!!!!! Whether you read to them or they are able to read to you……..have fun READING!!!! BUT the most important activity to do this summer is to enjoy being together. Laugh, be silly, dance, run around in a sprinkler!!! I loved teaching your child this year. Each one was so special, funny, enthusiastic and endearing. Cherish this time with them. Fondly, JoLynn Drexel
Tomorrow at our google meet, I will release the butterflies and talk about what we experienced. Here are 2 pictures of our Painted Ladies.
Hey Kindergarten boys and girls…….I have to apologize to Gage in the PM class. He was doing wonderful work all along, but somehow I wasn’t seeing the pictures his mom sent me every week!! So I have included a BUNCH of pictures of Gage this week. Gage…..enjoy!!! And I am so sorry. I am very glad your mom said something to me.
James read a book to us called “Dog Man” during the google meet. Here is the text for YOU to read!
Next Wednesday is our final google meet for Kindergarten. I hope most of you can make it. When you join us, I would like you to have something to share with the group. It could be a picture, a book, something you are going to do this summer. Use your imagination! Please be prepared to talk about it. Also, if you would like, let’s have a pajama meeting!! I also thought it would be fun to wear sunglasses and a hat. Whatever you would like to do. Looking forward to seeing you.
