I loved seeing many of you at our virtual class meeting yesterday, it made my entire week! If you were unable to attend, or had any difficulties figuring it out, please reach out to me at email@example.com – we plan on having another meeting next Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Just a reminder to submit your class work that is required for the week – what you need to submit is listed at the very top of the Remote Learning Opportunities web page. You can simply take a picture from your phone/tablet and e-mail it to me. I LOVE what I have seen so far and appreciate that you are continuing your learning while being at home!
READ ALOUD: Mrs. Adair and I will begin our new chapter book read aloud TODAY! Each day we will be adding a new chapter! Below is the link for our read aloud. Miss I. and I will be finishing up James and the Giant Peach – I will be sending you that soon!
Websites: Here a few great websites that you can use to help practice and strengthen your reading and math skills:
- Epic – https://www.getepic.com/app/edu-dashboard — great website to explore new books! I have sent you a link to our class account for this, please let me know if you need it again.
- xtramath.org – you all have your account from this past school year! Please let me know if you can’t remember your username or password. This is a great way to practice basic math facts.
- happynumbers.com – this is a website to help with math – typically you need a paid membership; however, they are offering their website free for the remainder of the school year!
- https://www.prodigygame.com/ – another great math website, also offering free membership for the remainder of the school year.
Also, don’t forget to e-mail me with any way your child is leaving their MARK at home! I will be submitting these to Dr. Mealey on Friday! 🙂
Please let me know if you have any questions! – Mrs. Hoke
