Team Bonfire

Hello Penn Manor Jr. High Cross Country families,

The Weaver family would like to host a team bonfire and cookout at their home on Friday, November 12th from 6-9 pm.

They will provide water and paper products, so bring anything you’d like to grill plus a fruit or veggie to share. You can also bring a chair, flashlight, and a blanket or sweatshirt to keep warm. Come ready with some glow-in-the-dark games for added fun!

Please RSVP to Kristi at theweavertribe@gmail.com for directions.

Many, many thanks!

Hello Penn Manor Jr. High Cross Country families,

Coach Taylour and I were extremely touched by your generosity and the thoughtful gifts you gave us this afternoon! After several months of training with the team and running back and forth on the courses, it will be a treat to get a new pair of shoes!

Our team demonstrated leadership, sportsmanship, self-discipline, commitment and a desire to succeed. While we spend an entire season working towards these goals, they begin at home with you. It was a special season in many ways, but it would not have been possible without your support for our program!

I will be adding new posts with information about track and upcoming road races in the coming days. Mrs. Braegelmann is also working on a slide show with all of the photographs you took throughout the season.

Thank you and GO COMETS!!!

Please put your child’s uniform in a bag with their name on it. We are all set with food and drinks for our party, but thank you for all of the offers to bring things!

Volunteering for Toys for Tots: We would like to get team members to come out and help prepare items for holiday distribution on Wednesday, November 3rd from 5-7 pm. This is an optional activity, but also a wonderful way to earn community service hours. I will confirm this date/time once I see who can come along with an address.

Lost and Found items/Uniform return

Hello Penn Manor Jr. High Cross Country families,

We have a few items that need to be claimed. I have three warm up shirts from the boy’s side yesterday. There are two size small and one size medium. I also ask that you check the tags in the shirts because we are missing a size large. I picked up a sweatshirt from the apparel order after Bridge the Gap that has yet to be claimed.

I will collect uniforms at our season’s end party Monday, 10/18. Please wash and put in a bag with your child’s name on it.

Thank you and GO COMETS!!!
