Moving ahead to Week 2

Hello Cross Country Families!

It was a hot and buggy first week of practice, but we made it! Coach Taylour and I are very impressed with the number of boys and girls that have decided to run Cross Country for the Penn Manor Comets!

During our first official week, student athletes learned the difference between dynamic and static stretches along with new core exercises…ask them about the plank pyramid, one of Coach Kramer’s favorites!

Just a quick reminder that once school starts, our practices will begin at 3:00, or shortly after when the activity buses arrive from the High School and Marticville Middle School. 

 I am in the midst of learning to use the Big Teams website that will allow you to receive information via text messages. I also handed out a paper on how to register. You can visit for more specific directions. You can begin the process by clicking Join in the top right hand corner of the page.
