Yesterday, Kindergarten enjoyed their Thanksgiving Feast! We learned all about the 1st Thanksgiving and got to enjoy our own Thanksgiving. Thank you for all of your kind donations. It is greatly appreciated as it covered everything we needed for our feast. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving weekend!
Tomorrow 11/22 is a spirit day here at Hambright! The theme is The Great Outdoors. Some ideas include wearing camo, flannel, bright colors, hiking boots or a safari hat! Please do not bring in any props.

You can also fill out the order form and return it to me with a check made out to Scholastic Book Clubs.
Your books will come to our class and I will hand them out to take home. If you would like to keep it a surprise, please let me know.

Word Belt Wednesday’s are going to start tomorrow. On Wednesday’s each child will be tested on their karate belt lists that are on the back of their folder. Just a reminder that they must be able to say the words out of order and within 3 seconds. They must also have their word belts on the back of their folders in order to get a new belt. I’m looking forward to giving out new word belts tomorrow!

Yesterday a special visitor came to our classroom.
It was my mom! She came to teach both classes why we honor our veterans. She is a veteran herself after serving in the Army for 20 years.
We hope all of our veterans had a wonderful Veterans Day yesterday!
