Thank you for sharing your children with me.
As a class reward for excellent behavior, the children will celebrate tomorrow by bringing slippers or warm socks to wear. It’s slipper day!!! Students should wear there shoes to school tomorrow and change into slippers at school. Way to go, 2-W!
Tomorrow is our holiday concert. The children will perform at an all school assembly at 2:10 for their peers. Parents are asked to come to the evening performance at 6:00. Students may be dropped of at our classroom at 5:50. They will remain with me as you go and select your seat in the cafeteria. I’ll walk the children down to the cafeteria at their designated time to sing. We’ll return to our classroom after singing. Please come to my room to pick up your child after the concert. We’re looking forward to a musical day!
Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers yesterday. The children had a wonderful time. I’m looking forward to seeing you next week at parent-teacher conferences. Enjoy the pictures!
Please be sure to check your child’s planner page nightly. It’s going to be a busy week.
Monday- Please review, sign, and return your child’s Chapter 1 math test tonight. New spelling lists sent home each Monday.
Tuesday- Students earned a classroom reward. They may bring their favorite stuffed animal to school tomorrow.
Wednesday- Picture Day 🙂
Friday- Book Exchange and Spelling Test
Tonight, the children will be bringing home their Lesson 1 reading assessment. We continue to work on our reading as we discuss test taking strategies. Parents please sign the tests and return them to school the next day. This allows me to review concepts that are difficult to children in a small group setting.
Wednesday nights the children will bring home their reading anthologies to reread the story read at school. Thanks for your continued support.
