We had another great week in kindergarten.
We continued to work on patterns, counting groups of items, comparing and using math vocabulary “equal”, “greater than”, and “less than”. We compared numbers and groups. We sang songs, read poems, and talked about words that rhyme. We are learning about how to be a good friend, use kind words, and how to use our manners. We practiced writing letters m, n, t, b, f, i, and u. We are listening to words, and identifying the first sound. We made sound bugs by listening for the first sound in the words. We are reading stories and talking about the sequence of how events happened in the story. We are also continuing to learn about pumpkins. Did you know that the atlantic giant pumpkin can grow to be over 500 pounds? Amazing!
Have a fabulous weekend!
