We had a fun week learning about the season of winter, a snowflake’s life cycle and temperature. We worked with the story The Mitten and identified setting, characters, and events. We sequenced the order of events and made inferences from the story. We compared numbers of all kinds, and counted sets and compared the numbers to find out what was more than and what was fewer than. We also determined how many more we would need to make equal groups. We had a ton of fun building with STEM materials this week! Next week is a short one – remember, we do not have school on Monday, January 16 and Friday, January 20. We are super excited because Miss G returns to our classroom on Tuesday!
