We had a fun week in kindergarten. We were happy to welcome Ms. G back to our classroom! She will be with us every day of the week until May to complete her students teaching placement. This week we wrapped up our book study of The Mitten and we made crayon resist mittens. We had so much fun! We are learning how to properly write capital letters, and we are building and reading c-v-c words. We are creating equal sets and naming the numbers that would be one more and one less. We are solving problems to determine if we have enough. This week we did some building with our stem materials and then recorded our work through drawing and writing. We are very creative! Next week we have a lot happening on Wednesday, please see below. Also, Friday is an early dismissal day – PM Kindergarten will not attend. AM kindergarten will attend 9-1:30 and will have lunch at school. Our 100th day of school is quickly approaching! Don’t forget to work on your special t-shirt project, we can’t wait to see them on our special day at school.
