We had a fun week counting down to the last day of kindergarten! This week we watched our caterpillars grow. It is amazing how large they are getting! By Friday we had one in the pupa stage. We can’t wait to see how many more are in the pupa stage on Monday. This past week we shared jokes, made and flew kites, learned about lady bugs and life cycles, and rocked our mis-matched clothes. We are composing and decomposing teen numbers, and reviewing 2D and 3D shapes. We are reading and writing cvc words, and are having so much fun sharing stories.

Tuesday – Outdoor Adventure
Wednesday – Pajama Day – wear your pajamas – NO Slippers, please
Thursday – Quiet Day – bring slippers to school and a small blanket or pillow. They both must fit in your backpack!
Thursday – Return your library book!
Friday – Rocks and Reading Rainbow – bring a rock to school

May 18 – PTO End of Year Picnic 5:30-7:30 (all students must be accompanied by an adult)
May 24 – Luau Spirit Day – dress tropically
May 26 – Wear House colors
May 29 – No School, Memorial Day
May 30 – House Wars! Wear your house shirt, SNEAKERS, and clothes for outdoor activities and games.
June 1 – Last Day of School for Kindergarten students
June 2 – Last day of school for grades 1-6, 11:30am dismissal
