Monday:This week is a review week on the kindergarten learning page. There are no activities to turn into your teacher. The teachers did read some books for the students to enjoy.

Tuesday: Let’s get together as a class! This is an optional activity! This week we will talk about our summer plans. Your child may bring an object to show the class something he or she is looking forward to doing in the summer (water toy, side walk chalk, soccer ball, etc.) I will also show a few videos to introduce the first grade teachers.

Wednesday: I will send out a class lesson reviewing all the letters and sounds we have learned this year. Your child may watch this video anytime that is convenient.
Thursday: Last day of school for kindergarten. Let’s get together to celebrate! It is a friend party! I will read a book about friends. We will also watch an end of the year video. Your child does not need to bring anything, unless he or she wants to have something with him or her as a celebration (a balloon, a party hat, etc.). We will not have a time of sharing, but we will get to see each other.

End of School Reminders: There is a drop off bin for library books outside of the main entrance. Please label with student’s name and place in a sealed bag if possible. Unfortunately, we are still waiting on school yearbooks from the company. When yearbooks are received, we may try to organize an optional distribution plan. Rest assured, if you cannot pick up your child’s ordered yearbook, we will keep it safe at CM until the fall. Report cards will be available on Sapphire Wednesday, June 3rd. Report cards will also be mailed out and should arrive close to June 3rd. The report card will include your child’s teacher for next year.
Parents: Thank you for all your support this year. I have enjoyed getting to know each of you. I will continue to watch your child grow. I look forward to giving each of them a big welcome back hug. You are always welcome to stop by classroom and say hello. You and your children have become special to me this year!
