This picture captures so much of who I am! I love the luxury of reading, traveling, summer, and being with family! This summer my husband Eric (you can see him in the mirror taking the picture) and daughter Zoe (16 years old) traveled to France to visit Eric’s family. This picture was taken at the most famous independent bookstore in the world, Shakespeare and Company, located along the Seine River in Paris. I have been teaching gifted children for over 20 years and can honestly say I LOVE this population! You can find me teaching at Conestoga Elementary, Eshleman Elementary, and Marticville Middle Schools.
Welcome to our Penn Manor Gifted Support Families. This is my tenth year in Penn Manor and my 26th year in education. Most of my tenure has been working with gifted students in some fashion.
My husband and I have three daughters (24, 17, and 15) and adopted a new puppy this summer, Magnolia Mae. We spent the summer raising her, visiting family, on the beach or paddle boarding.
This year I will be the Gifted Support Teacher and Manor Middle and Hambright Elementary.
Hello Students and Families,
I am Mr. Sellers and beyond excited to be part of Penn Manor. This year marks my 17th year in education.
Prior to becoming a teacher I spent 12 years in the Finance Industry. Locally I worked at M & T bank (formerly known as Dauphin Deposit Bank and Trust Co.). I then moved to New York City and worked at Moodys Investors Service as a Director of Finance. This is where I was working when I decided to make a career change and become a teacher.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in finance from Pennsylvania State University. After that I went to York College and earned a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Later I attended Millersville University where I obtained my teaching degree and earned a Masters in Education.
I look forward to working with you to help make your child have a fun and educational year. I believe education is a team effort and we both want the same thing: For your child to obtain the best educational experience possible! J
