Challenge Accepted

Hi Friends!  I hope your summer has been full of fun so far!  I wanted to check in to see what good books you have been reading.  Are you reading here or there?  Are you reading everywhere?  Have you read in the park?  Have you read with a flashlight in the dark?  Does the future hold some slime for me, or sleeping on the roof will I be?  CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!  xoxo  Mrs. Terry

First Grade Splash Party Update

The forecast is calling for a 60% chance of rain this afternoon, so we’ll be postponing our splash party until Monday, June 6.  The students will still need to bring a towel and wear their bathing suit under their street clothing.

Volunteers will be needed to help at the Splash party on Monday from 1:50-3:15.  Please contact me if you’re able to help at our fun event!

We will also have gym on Monday, so sneakers will be needed too!

Thank you for coming out to see our play yesterday!  I loved the excitement of the kids as they prepared for the big show!  They did a fantastic job!  I’m so proud of them!

Splash Party

We are still planning to have the first grade splash party on Friday afternoon.  Please send the kids to school with a beach towel and wearing a bathing suit under his/her street clothes.  There is rain in the forecast, so we may need to postpone our splash party until Monday.  I’ll contact parent volunteers if this is the case.  The kids will be able to let you know if we need to reschedule for Monday.  Plus, they’ll come home dry if we don’t have the splash party tomorrow!  We could still use some donations of water balloons if anyone is inclined to fill some balloons and send them in to school.  Thank you!

Reminder – Tomorrow is flip flop Friday!
