Friday, March 9 is Eshleman book character dress up day.

Students may bring in a toy to play with during recess.  Please label it with a name.

We have book exchange on Friday too.

Due to our missed day of school this week, our spelling test will now be on Tuesday, March 13.

A few things…

We had a great day today!  We’re celebrating Dr. Seuss all this week.  Tomorrow is Fox in Socks day.  If the kids would like to wear two different socks they are welcome to.  We’ll be taking off our shoes while we’re inside so we can see everyone’s mismatched socks!

Our class finished earning all of the pieces to  Mrs. Potato head.  The kids voted and want to bring in a toy to play with at recess.  As soon as everyone has brought in a toy, we’ll go outside to have some fun.  All toys should be labeled with your student’s name, and should fit into a back pack for easy transporting to and from school.  Please send all toys in by Thursday at the latest.

We’ll be making leprechaun traps next week.  If you have a spare shoe box we could use, feel free to send them to school.  Thanks!

Any donations of glue sticks are appreciated!

New long E spelling words came home today.  We don’t have Math homework since today’s lesson will be continued tomorrow.

Week of March 5-9

Monday, March 5 –  New spelling words will come home.  We have Art today.  Eshleman is celebrating Dr. Seuss –  dress like “things” or identical to a friend.  I’ll be wearing a red shirt.  I’d love to have some twins who are also wearing red!

Tuesday, March 6 – We have Music.  Students who pre registered will be staying after school for the Dr. Seuss read a thong from 3:30-4:45.

Wednesday, March 7 –  We have phys. ed.  It’s “wacky Wednesday” at Eshleman.  Wear your mismatched, silly clothes to school.

Thursday, March 8 – We have library  and book exchange.

Friday, March 9 – We have Art again.    Today is book character day.  Dress as your favorite book character.

Our school has been transformed into “Seussville.”  We’ll be reading Dr. Seuss books this week and doing some fun projects to go along with our stories.

We’re in need of glue sticks.  Any that you are able to send to school are appreciated!  Thank you!

Our long “e” spelling test will be on Monday, March 12.
