Monthly Archives: September 2018

What A Great Week!

We had so much fun learning about Apples on Wednesday!  We made home made crock pot applesauce.  Everyone was willing to taste it and most of the kids thought it was good!  We learned how to cut an apple so you can see a star inside, tasted 3 colors of apples, and did some apple painting!  Thank you for the many apple donations!  Everyone received an Eshleman Pride Slip because they not only had fun painting, but we didn’t make a mess anywhere in our room!  Please sign and return the pride slip to school on Monday.  We’ll be having our first Pride Slip drawing of the school year, for a chance to pick from my prize bucket.

Sunday, September 30 is the Elementary Fun Run behind Manor Middle School.  This is a free event.  Registration begins at 1:30 and races begin at 2 PM.  The school with the most participation will bring home the traveling trophy!  I hope to see you there!

The last day to turn in PM football reading calendars is on Monday.

Pizza Hut Reading Calendars will be sent home on Monday.  This is an optional activity sponsored by Pizza Hut as an incentive to keep kids reading at home.
