Due to a number of new COVID-19 cases reported at several Penn Manor schools, all Penn Manor schools will shift to full remote learning for Wednesday, December 16, as recommended by the PA Department of Education guidance. We will announce the status of our schools for Thursday, December 17, at a later time due to the predicted weather.
Students should log onto their teacher’s Google Classroom or Seesaw accounts to obtain individual classroom schedules. Students will receive live, virtual instruction throughout the school day on Wednesday.
We encourage parents and staff to monitor the district website for updates regarding the weather and school schedules. All families and faculty will receive a follow-up email from building principals regarding expectations for online learning.
During the closure, we expect students to act responsibly by practicing social distancing, wearing masks in public and monitoring their health. If you or a member of your household tests positive for COVID-19, please contact your building’s school nurse so we can identify any other individuals who may have been in close contact in the school setting.
As a community, we all need to do our part to assure that in-person learning can safely resume for Penn Manor students.
